⚔ The Browser Wars (1995–2001)
In the late 1990s, a great war was fought between two browser empires: Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Websites would often display a badge declaring which side they were on.
Good Website Company officially endorsed Netscape Navigator and we stand by that position.
Note: You are currently viewing this page in a simulated Netscape Navigator 4.0 environment. You're welcome.
🚧 Under Construction Hall of Fame
In the 1990s, it was considered acceptable—even professional—to put a large animated GIF
on your page saying it was under construction. Here we honor the finest examples.
